Information Analysis:
Northwest Public Health Information Exchange:
This project aims to work collaboratively with health care providers and public health to evaluate the biosurveillance minimum data set and develop tools to assist with biosurveillance in the northwest.
Surveillance Integration & Decision Support:
This project aims to evaluate and establish a set of next-generation public health surveillance and reporting methods that will have application within emerging technologies and an emerging health information infrastructure.
Grid Computing:
A public health grid could provide a means of utilizing the mass amounts of data available, supply low resource settings with the technological capability to analyze data, and determine a centralized system for geographic analysis of public health anomalies.
Sero:
Sero is a computational website designed to run algorithms to decipher and separate collected data.
XForms:
This project researches and tests XForms for data collection and analysis because public health relies on the collection, analysis and sharing of diverse data. Unlike present public health data systems, XForms could afford great interoperability and efficiency.
