CPHI's Increasing Network of Collaborations
In order to show the growing network of collaborations of CPHI faculty and staff Neil Abernethy of CPHI and Kathleen Amos, an NLM fellow, worked together to produce the figure below. The blue nodes represent journal articles and the white and green nodes represent authors having one or more publications. The network spans several disciplines and institutions and shows collaboration growth from 2005 through May 2009. Dr. Abernethy studies collaboration and outbreak networks, and is a member of CPHI faculty, a Center of Excellence in Public Health Informatics funded by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
